Our High Production CNC Contract Machining Division specializes in contract machining of castings and forgings in the thousands and tens-of-thousands. Our lean manufacturing facility serves a variety of customers, including the construction, engine and leisure craft industries.
To provide a complete solution for our customers' outsourcing needs, Trace-A-Matic's High Production Division integrates the following operations, as well as other operations:

Automation is used extensively throughout our focus factory to be as efficient and cost-effective as possible. Along with robotics, Trace-A-Matic has strived to automate inspection by designing quality into the process.
Many of our CNC machine tools have closed-loop feedback systems via in-process gauging to make automatic offset adjustments to the machine tools themselves. Monitoring the process ensures repeatability and reliability of our quality. With this technology we can hold microns running thousands of parts.
Using the latest in air gauging and SPC software, much of our in-process verification is automated. Human intervention is needed only when the feedback gauging reports limits approaching upper or lower limits. Our customers then download our electronic inspection data on a weekly basis.
Trace-A-Matic continues to invest in the latest technology in machine tools. We also invest heavily in our people. Our employees receive extensive training in ISO 9002 procedures and work instructions as well as individualized training to their particular department or machine. |
