2011 Trace-A-Matic Customer Survey Results!Customers Choose TAM Quality We've finished our review of the results of our 2011 customer survey conducted this past September. The result is a solid affirmation that quality and Trace-A-Matic are synonymous. 70% of the respondents cited quality as the primary consideration for working with us. Many machine shops have certified quality programs that indicate a quality environment. Many machine shops can meet print specifications for their finished parts. But when there is an overwhelming recognition of quality you know that the customer is seeing exceptional quality that exceeds expectation. That's what TAM delivers! At A Competitive Price! Among the other reasons cited as primary considerations for using Trace-A-Matic are competitive pricing, our capacity, and our knowledge and skill level. We have many spindles both milling and turning to offer and are adding more to our capacity. We have a skilled workforce and knowledgeable engineering to devise the best process for your parts. Spindles, space, and exceptional workforce are certainly cost drivers. But our existing customers also cited competitive pricing as a reason they turn to Trace-A-Matic. We strive to provide fair pricing to enable our customers to be competitive in their industries. Opportunity for Improvement In at least one area we've noted an opportunity for improvement. Order turnaround time was rated as average. As was our ability to handle higher volume work. To that end we are in the process of adding some cells that will provide greater flexibility for throughput as well as very efficient processing of higher volume work. We'll see if this helps us improve in these areas. Thanks Thanks to all of our customers who took the time to respond to the survey. Nearly 50% offered their feedback. This exceptional response rate is in itself a nice indicator of the strong relationships Trace-A-Matic maintains with customers. |
