Trace-A-Matic is highly skilled at titanium CNC machining and its alloys. Titanium can be difficult to machine, and work hardening may occur with too much heat generated during the machining process. Some grades produce small chips when machined, also referred to as free machining. The proper production processes, cutting tool geometry and tool material, feed rate, cutting speeds, chip evacuation, and cutting force are essential to reduce heat and tool deflection.
