Trace-A-Matic Corp. has installed a new Smart SW-316 CNC vertical machining center at their Houston, TX location. The center features a 35 HP - 6,000 RPM spindle with a large machining area of X-axis 122” x Y-axis 63” x Z-axis 31”, optimized for accuracy, reduced cycle times, and power cutting performance.
“Our new Smart VMC more than doubles Houston’s current VMC machining envelope,” Joel Donohue, President at Trace-A-Matic South, said in a statement. “Trace-A-Matic continues to meet the growing machining needs of our customers across all market segments.”
